A growing clamor for “green” products, due to the alarming developments in the earth’s environmental health, have increased the demand for energy efficient technologies, among other environmentally friendly things. One such technological development has the opportunity to be of fortuitous benefit where there is a great need for alternative processes.

The Light Emitting Diode, more commonly called LED is slowly replacing the ubiquitous fluorescent and incandescent lights. Its advantage comes in its ability to directly convert electrical energy to luminous energy. By giving more light per watt, this makes them more efficient than fluorescent and incandescent bulbs alike. LED lamps can also emit specific colors without the need of color filters, so they are more efficient for lamps with dedicated color emissions. They come in very small sizes and produce little heat making them very unobtrusive sources of illumination. They are also shock resistant and a have a longer lifespan which can last for up to 50,000 hours.

One of its most recent developments is the GU10 LED light bulbs. In 2008, it was introduced into the market and was received as another thrilling advancement in the world of lighting. The GU10 is an extremely efficient energy saver and light provider with an output comparable to a standard 25 watt incandescent bulb. The key advantage of this lamp, though, is that it consumes only an eighth of the power needed to light its incandescent counterpart. The GU10 LED bulb requires only 3 watts to give an output of 70 lumens- now that’s energy efficient lighting! The bulb also has a 40 degree lens that gives out a pleasant beam of illumination.

GU10 LED lights come in various models for different functions; from ambient, decorative, to utility lighting. What’s good about it is that whichever model you choose from its wide selection of applications, you’re sure to gain the benefits associated with the use of LED technology.

Apart of the obvious ones like being cheaper and smaller than a conventional one, there are also a few other reasons around for buying a smaller table top oven, commonly called a mini oven. The first is:
Mini Ovens are green
No, I don’t mean in color and design, you will be hard pressed to find one in this color! They are more likely available in white or metal. I mean in the use of energy and other resources. No matter if you believe in global warming or if you believe that global warming was invented by a guy with the initials A.G., saving money on electricity bills should be always a strong argument for everybody. In the end, and in the current economical situation especially, saving money is decisively a good thing to strive for! So, when firing on a small oven for small task instead of using a conventional one for the same, you will save money on your electricity and energy bill plus recuperating the initial investment in them in a short time.
Mini Ovens are cool
No, again, I don’t mean their looks, I mean that they emit considerably less heat as a conventional and normal sized oven. Just think about this: You have a slice of pizza leftover from yesterdays dinner. What do you prefer? To quickly (hey, that is actually point 3!) reheat it in a small oven that doesn’t heat up your kitchen much and operates with the optimal amount of energy for the task, or to heat up an oven that is several times larger than needed for the task and heats up your kitchen (think summer!) unbearable? How to you prefer to cook, in sweating heat or in a, relatively cool, environment?
Mini Ovens are fast
Fast and quick to heat up, fast and quick to cool down, ready to be cleaned rather sooner then later. In short, these smallish ovens are great time savers! So, no matter what type of mini oven you buy, the reasons are the same for every one.

Green Cleaning is a simple way to reduce the harmful bi-products of modern life.  But let’s be honest we’re pretty used to having things relatively easy and more importantly, very clean.  One way to ditch the detergents and make your cleaning Eco Friendly is with the Vapamore MR 100 Dry Steam Cleaner.

I know, it’s still yet another home appliance and yes it consumes electricity, but not as much as you would think.  And still, it is a green cleaning product as far as I am concerned if it means you have less tough toxic chemicals in your kitchen closets and definitely if it cleans safely without putting you or your family in any danger.

With the Vapamore MR 100 you really just rely on the cleaning qualities of a truly deep steam clean to get just about everything around the home, not only clean, but also totally sanitised.  Steam vapor is driven into the pile of carpets, curtains, upholstery or whatever to drive out dirt and destroy bacteria.  You could just use it to clean the wheel rims of your car, but personally I find it most useful around the home.  There are so many items that are really difficult to get truly clean without the help of chemical cleaners.  The more delicate the item the less apt we are to simply scrub it.  We need something that can get rid of the dirt without doing any damage and really that just leaves chemical detergents or steam vapor cleaners.

The Vapamore Steam Cleaner does everything a tough detergent could and much much more.  The high temperature of the steam emitted from the cleaner itself will even deal with dust-mites, fleas, spores and molds.  This makes it invaluable for those with allergies or ill-health as the alternative chemical anti-bacterials and insecticides can be extremely dangerous to use in the home.  This is a dry steam vapor cleaner and that means that actually very little water is ever driven into what you are cleaning.  That makes it great for soft furnishings, mattresses and curtains that you cannot afford to get soaking wet.

It might be less green than elbow grease but the Vapamore MR 100 certainly makes for effortless easy Green Cleaning!
